How Well Do You Know God?

💗Read Deuteronomy 29:1-13 prayerfully.

Dt 29:1-13 [1] These are the terms of the covenant the LORD commanded Moses to make with the Israelites in Moab, in addition to the covenant he had made with them at Horeb. [2] Moses summoned all the Israelites and said to them： Your eyes have seen all that the LORD did in Egypt to Pharaoh, to all his officials and to all his land. [3] With your own eyes you saw those great trials, those miraculous signs and great wonders. [4] But to this day the LORD has not given you a mind that understands or eyes that see or ears that hear. 

[5] During the forty years that I led you through the desert, your clothes did not wear out, nor did the sandals on your feet. [6] You ate no bread and drank no wine or other fermented drink. I did this so that you might know that I am the LORD your God... [9] Carefully follow the terms of this covenant, so that you may prosper in everything you do...[12] You are standing here in order to enter into a covenant with the LORD your God, a covenant the LORD is making with you this day and sealing with an oath, [13] to confirm you this day as his people, that he may be your God as he promised you and as he swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

[13] Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf , he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. [14] Then he said to the tree, "May no one ever eat fruit from you again." And his disciples heard him say it.  [15] On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple area and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. Do Not Fear

  Apr 3, 2024 (Wed) 💗Read Deuteronomy 20:1-20 prayerfully. Dt 20:1-9 [1] When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than yours, do not be afraid of them, because the LORD your God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with you. [2] When you are about to go into battle, the priest shall come forward and address the army. [3] He shall say： "Hear, O Israel, today you are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be fainthearted or afraid; do not be terrified or give way to panic before them.
